This is the second part of “Broken Parts.” I realized that I told you all what I thought I knew about my father, but I did not tell you what the truth is. That is because it must go with everything I found out after meeting the family, my maternal cousin (Lena) took me to meet. Well, Lena’s mother kept telling her I resembled this family, and I feel like deep inside she knew something. I thought I would be able to see Lena’s mother, but she passed last year. Lena took me to see these “friends of the family” and she had them guess who I was. Finally, after some hints…they figured it out and they became so emotional because they had not seen me since I was taken away at the age of four years old. They said they never heard from me again.
